Dr Poli has a strong interest in the stabilisation and management of critically ill patients, small animal ultrasound and radiology and emergency surgery. He is currently the coordinator of the internship program and the continuing education program for the emergency clinicians at three Animal Emergency Service practices
Dr Guy Clare graduated in December 1994 from the University of Liverpool. Following graduation he moved straight into small animal practice. 5 years later, together with his wife, they bought a first opinion practice in Bolton.

Leah graduated from the University of Sydney in 1999 and following a stint in mixed practice in Queensland she headed to the UK in 2001.
Dr Lucas Beierer BVSc GradDipEd MACVS MVetSurg DACVS-SA (Specialist) Lucas graduated as a veterinarian from the University of Queensland and immediately undertook a rotating internship here at QVS. Surgical internships then followed in Adelaide and Perth, part of which involved a tertiary qualification in adult education. He undertook a residency in small animal surgery at
Martin graduated from the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences Brno, Czech Republic, in 1992. Martin moved to Australia in 1994 and worked with Advanced Anaesthesia Specialists from 1997 – 2000.
Dr Thomson is a Specialist Surgical Oncologist, and has been caring exclusively for veterinary patients with cancer for many years.
