Bitesize Additional Online T&Cs

These Terms of Use set out the terms on which the Member may make use of the Learning Platform. By completing the online registration form, purchasing a Membership, and/or using the Learning Platform, the Member accepts and agrees to comply with these Terms of Use.


Improve International” means Improve International Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 3568194 and Improve International Australia Pty Ltd, ABN 90 159 973 636.

Learning Platform” means the online learning platform where course materials/resources are stored and may be accessed by the Member.

Member” the individual subscribed to the Membership, and any person on whose behalf the Member is acting.

Membership” the contractual relationship between the member and Improve International which enables access to the Learning Platform.


Membership and access to Learning Platform

The Member shall have non-exclusive and non-transferrable license to access and use the materials on the Learning Platform applicable to his/her Membership at any site or location. Improve International shall provide materials/resources specific to the Membership. Improve International reserves the right to change, alter, modify, and where relevant adapt the materials on the Learning Platform at any time and without notice.

Improve International is the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in the Learning Platform and the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.

Downloadable content may be made available on the Learning Platform, including content such as course notes, electronic journals and articles. Materials from the Learning Platform must not be amended or edited in any way by the Member. All materials from the Learning Platform must retain the name of our company and branding, any legal notices and disclaimers (including copyright), and any authorial credits.

Member is responsible for making all arrangements necessary for him/her to have access to the Learning Platform. Member must not use any other person’s user ID and password to access the Learning Platform, or share Member’s user ID and/or password with any other person. Member must notify Improve International in writing immediately, if he/she becomes aware of any unauthorised use of his/her account. Member is solely responsible for all actions taken, including orders made, through his/her Membership or otherwise using Member’s user ID and password or other piece of security information.

Member must not use the Learning Platform or the Improve International’s website to copy, store, host, transmit, send, use, publish or distribute any material which consists of, or linked to spyware, computer viruses, trojan horses, worms or any other malicious computer software, whether intentionally or not. Member must not conduct any systematic or automated data collection activities on or in relation to the Learning Platform.

The materials on the Learning Platform are for personal and/or private use only and are not permitted for viewing or use by the general public. They are provided for use by the member only and are not to be reproduced in any format or used for any commercial purpose without prior written consent by Improve International.

Improve International has the right to disable any user ID or password for any reason at any time, including if in its reasonable opinion Member has failed to comply with any of the provisions of these Terms of Use.

The membership fee shall be paid by the Member via one of the payment methods stated on the website. Membership may be paid by the member via credit card, debit card, direct debit or by other methods accepted by Improve International. Direct debit will be taken on the 10th of each month. Until payment is received, materials and login details will not be supplied. Improve International will send an electronic receipt to the member once payment or a payment plan has been created. If the Member wishes to change the Membership payment terms set out on the website and Improve International agrees to do so, Improve International will notify the member or any changes in writing to the Member. Improve International is not bound to agree to any changes requested by the Member.

Unless otherwise mandated by law, Membership is not refundable and any refund is at Improve International’s discretion. Cancellations are subject to the cancellation policy available at



Membership materials available on the Learning Platform are designed for use in professional updating and training. The Membership material should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice. Although Improve International makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of and to update the information on the Learning Platform, it makes no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, that the content on the Learning Platform is accurate, complete or up to date. Content provided presents the professional views of the speaker. To the extent permitted by law, Improve International shall have no responsibility for any loss or damage arising from reliance on any such materials.

Improve International does not guarantee that the Learning Platform, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. Access to the Learning Platform is permitted on a temporary basis. Improve International may suspend, withdraw, discontinue or change all or any part of the Learning Platform and the material on the Learning Platform without notice and, to the extent permitted by law, will not be liable if for any reason the Learning Platform is temporarily unavailable.

To the full extent permitted by law and except as otherwise provided herein, Improve International excludes all conditions, warranties, representations or other terms which may apply to the Learning Platform or the Membership or any content available pursuant to it, whether express or implied. To the full extent permitted by law, Improve International will not be liable for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise arising under or in connection with: (i) use of, or inability to use the Learning Platform; (ii) any loss or damage caused by a virus, distributed denial-of-service attack, or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material; or (iii) use of or reliance on any content displayed on the Learning Platform. To the full extent permitted by law, Improve International will not in any circumstances be liable for: (i) loss of profits, sales, business, or revenue; (ii) business interruption; (iii) loss of anticipated savings; (iv) loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation; or (v) any indirect or consequential loss or damage. Nothing in these terms of use limits, excludes or modifies the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 or any other implied warranties under the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 or similar consumer protection laws in Australia, except where Improve International is legally permitted to do so. If it is legally permitted to do so, then Improve International limits its liability to the following: (1) in the case of goods, one or more of the following at Improve International’s discretion: (a) the replacement of the goods or the supply of the equivalent goods; (b) the repair of the goods; (c) the payment of the cost of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods; or (d) the payment of having the goods repaired; and (2) in the case of services: (a) the supplying of the services again; or (b) the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.

These terms of use, their subject matter and formation, and any non-contractual disputes or claims, are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. We both submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.


Bitesize CPD – Free Trial

This free trial offer is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over who work in the veterinary field in Australia and are not an existing or a past Member on the Learning Platform. Offer will be valid from 10/01/2018 until 31/12/2018.

This offer entitles eligible individuals to access Improve International’s Online Bitesize CPD (and the materials related to it), for free, on the Learning Platform for a period of ten (10) days, from the moment that they register for the trial. By registering for the free trial, each individual acknowledges that they will be required to submit payment details, which will be used for future ongoing charges if they do not cancel their membership prior to the expiration of the trial period. By submitting their payment details, individuals accept these terms and consent to Improve International using their payment details in accordance with its membership terms of use. If an individual does not wish to become a paying Member of the Online Bitesize CPD upon the expiration of their free 10 day trial period, they must terminate their membership by notifying Improve International in writing to, before the end of the 10 day free trial period. A Member who has registered for a free trial using their Paypal account will also need to cancel their automatic payments through their Paypal account. For the avoidance of doubt, individuals will be automatically charged for their use of the Learning Platform after the expiration of their free trial period, unless they cancel their membership before the end of their free trial period. Unless the individual cancels or wishes to change or upgrade their membership type, they will be automatically subscribed to the Online Bitesize CPD payment plan, which will allow access to the Online Bitesize CPD on the Learning Platform, and will be charged at $37.50 per month, until the individual cancels their membership.

Each person can only take advantage of the free trial once.

To the extent permitted by law, Improve International reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to withdraw or to modify the free trial offer at any time without prior notice and with no liability.

Access to the Online Bitesize CPD and the Learning Platform is subject to the terms of use applicable to the Learning Platform, as outlined above.
